The gift

Knit embossed spikes

It starts to get very cold. I want to wrap myself in something warm and soft. It's nice to have different accessories for the autumn and winter. I have already prepared all my hats, scarves and gloves.

Small new project

I started to do one small thing. Guess what it will be?

"In the deep deep water" painting / work process

I made a painting of the underwater monster. It's a few photos taken while working on it.
I used watercolor, ink, a little bit of gouache and white pen.
The size of this painting: 254x254 mm. Heavy watercolor paper.

My lovely flower

I have finished the painting of a terra-cota monster. It's called My Lovely Flower.
I want to show you a little bit of the process.
This is the view of my studio. I'm working and my baby plays near me. It is very important to finish something before the baby crawls too far :)



First I'm painting using my favorite russian watercolor Leningrad.Then I'm making black ink contours. And here we are. It's not a big picture - size A4 (297x210 mm). I have the original on sale in my etsy-shop. Free shipping worldwide. Welcome! sodadesign.etsy.com

Terra-cotta monster

At my desk. A little bit of drawing when my baby plays on the floor near me. I have started a new painting with a monster and flower.

Packaging for Uncle Fish brooches

Packaging for Uncle Fish brooches is already finished. It is a piece of gray paper and a cellophane sleeve. I have drawn a nice pattern on the paper using a white pen.
There are only eight pieces of these brooches. I will not repeat them in this form. Brooches are available at my etsy-shop.

Beauty of south Iceland - 2

I continue showing nice places of Icelandic soth coast. The first post is here.
These are photos from the other side of the beach between Dyrholaey rocks and Vik town. This is just amazing what a Nature has created! Basalt columns and volcanic lava rocks prick up from the ocean.

Uncle Fish brooches

I finished some soft brooches yesterday. I only need to make a package for it. I didn't decide yet what kind of paper to choose.

I used a black fabric marker for drawing a picture on a piece of reused cotton. Not a bad result. What do you think?
